Every project starts with an idea. This four-room villa—once burdened by a lean-to and a sprawling but awkward extension—held potential beneath its challenging layout. By lifting the lean-to to full ceiling height, we unlocked the centre of the home, carving out a master suite, new bedroom, bathroom, laundry, powder room, and a fresh kitchen.
But the true transformation lies in the extended hallway, which adds a surprising sense of depth and scale.
Originally bought as an investment, the home suddenly needed to be lived in sooner than planned—compressing the entire design and build into just three months.
